Under the patronage of The Ottawa Masonic Association, I am pleased to announce that the OMA is scheduled to host a virtual presentation with the 2012 Prestonian Lecturer, W Bro Tony Harvey PAGDC (UGLE).
The Prestonian Lecture is a prestigious honour designated annually as the only lecture given under the authority of the Quatuor Coronati Lodge No. 2076, on the roll of the United Grand Lodge of England, as the premier lodge of masonic research. For this upcoming presentation, W Bro Harvey will be delivering his 2018 Cornwallis Lecture, “The Future of Freemasonry: Evolution & Change”.
In this talk W Bro Harvey explains the importance of evolution and change for any organisation to succeed and thrive. He describes how throughout Masonic history, Lodges have managed change and offers an approach that Lodges can use to secure their future. The talk will be on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 6:30pm over Zoom. Brethren will have to register for the event ahead of time at the following link https://fofec-oma.eventbrite.co.uk/.
W Bro Tony Harvey is an experienced Freemason who has held active roles in the mentoring, secretarial, learning & development, charity and communication areas. He is a grand officer in the Craft, Royal Arch and Mark and in two other Orders. Having chatted with W Bro Tony Harvey a bit, we are excited to be able to deliver a fantastic presentation for the National Capital Region brethren.
